Oldest President - Ronald Wilson Reagan (1980-1988) took the oath of office at 69 years 349 days on 20 Jan 1981. He was reelected at age 74. He left office in January 1989 with two-thirds of the American people approving his performance during his two terms. It was the highest rating for any retiring President since World War II.
